We believe the Bible, Old and New Testaments, are inspired by God as they were originally given.

(2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)

We believe God has revealed Himself as one God existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; each of whom is fully God, distinguishable but indivisible.

(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe God has made Himself known to the world through creation, the Bible, and Jesus Christ.

(Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Tim 3:16; Romans 1:20)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to the Virgin Mary and is the Saviour of humanity.

(Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6)

We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possesses intrinsic dignity and worth.

(Romans 5:12-18; Gen 1:27 – 30; 1 Cor 10:31)

We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of humanity. He was buried and then resurrected on the third day appearing to his disciples.

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

(John 3:5-8; Heb.10:19-25)

We believe in Jesus Christ’s ascension into heaven, His exaltation as Heavenly High Priest and His personal, literal and bodily coming to earth again a second time.

(John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Hebrews 4:14)

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, guides and comforts believers through distributing gifts of the Spirit and leads believers to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit.

(John 16:13, Ephesians 4:7, Romans 12:6, Galatians 5:22)

We believe gifts of the Spirit in operation are essential to the ministry of the church.

(1 Corinthians 12-14)

We believe in the Spirit-filled life and the development of godly character in the fear of God as believers serve and demonstrate devotion to God.

(Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14, 7:1)

We believe the company of the called-out ones, the church, is the community where all believers pursue the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ.

(Ephesians 1:22-23)

We believe in water baptism by immersion for the believer in Jesus Christ as an expression of faith and obedience to His command, and that baptism by immersion is meant to symbolically depict the believer’s real union to Christ in His death and resurrection.

(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-41; Rom. 6:1-14)

We believe in the breaking of bread commonly called communion or the “Lord’s Supper” where bread and the wine (we use grape juice) are the symbols of celebration and remembering Jesus’ sacrifice.

(1 Corinthians 11:28-32; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:18-20)

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead. Satan, with his hosts and all those outside Christ, will receive eternal punishment but the righteous will live and reign with Him forever.

(John 5:24, 3:16; Mark 9:43-50; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Rev 20:7-15; Rev 21:1-5)
